"The first release from the duo of digital artists Viktor Timofeev and Kaspars Groševs presents a sonic map of half-imagined topography - both of the housing estate in Latvian capital Riga from which the project takes its name and a grey, abstract desert. These eight tracks explore some of the same machinic territory as labelmate Brood Ma, or the fractured digital architectures of Arca and early Jam City. The title track is Russian Mind era Oneohtrix Point Never warped from inside, breaking down into ever more out of tune and rhythmically disjunctive bits.
